Tita ran the family restaurant and hotel in Honduras for many years before coming to the United States. Once here, she put her tailoring skills to work at local companies such as TransTex, Desmark and Honeywell. Managing and running a tailor shop is the realization of a life long dream.

Cecilia brings almost a decade of tailoring experience from both Guatemala and the United States to our team. She has worked in numerous factory settings completing complex patterns exactly as they were designed.

Eli not only serves as a mannequin, but also helps out wherever he is needed in the shop, as any good son would do.

With a degree in Criminal Justice from New England Tech, Paola is working with us as she awaits the start of her career in law enforcement. Paola specializes in customer service and has committed to never learning to sew, no matter what her mother says. (Though we have been able to convince her to do fittings.)

Tailor

Arriving from Mexico over 20 years ago, Rebecca began sewing to help a friend who needed a dress hemmed. Her friend was impressed with the results and Rebecca discovered that she enjoyed sewing. When someone needed alterations, her friend recommended them to Rebecca, and those friends recommended others. After a short time, she had quite a few clients and worked full time to help them. In 2017, she began to work professionally at a local factory. She joined Tita’s Tailoring Team in the summer of 2022.

Tailor / Presser

New to professional tailoring, Yeimy works under the watchful eye of more experienced tailors. She is a fast learner and performs many important support tasks, such as inspections and ironing that ensure your alterations are completed with the high quality you’d expect.

Customer Service Tailor’s Apprentice

As part of the family, Brandy jumps in to retrieve completed work, manage your checkout, or open seams to prepare clothing for the tailors. Though not ready to alter customer clothing, she’s quickly becoming proficient at many basic sewing tasks.

Greeter

Part-time worker Loki is a calm, friendly rescue dog that loves to chill in the back of the store. But when he hears the door open he runs to greet our customers with a big smile and a sniff (and no licking). On days when he’s not working at the shop, many customers ask where he is before they ask about the tailors.

Administrator

Preferring to remain mysterious, Tim works behind the scenes to ensure that his wife has a successful business. Though, occasionally he is allowed to come into the light and interact with customers. (Not an actual photo.)
